Job summary

Arcadia Cold Storage & Logistics, based in Alaska, seeks a driven Sales Director to initiate contact with potential customers, promote services, and identify opportunities in a fast-growing environment with uncapped commission potential.

You will articulate Arcadia’s offerings, develop regional relationships, and collaborate with Operations and the Solutions Implementation team to onboard new accounts and achieve revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5+ years of supply chain / distribution/warehousing/transportation sales experience.
• Heavy experience in sales, new company prospecting, qualification, lead generation, selling, and closing new business (vs. Account Management).
• Experience in temperature-controlled warehousing or related industry preferred.
• Knowledge of transportation/freight consolidation programs a bonus.
• Problem solving and action-oriented mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Develop targeted action plans with Management, Sales & Marketing, and facility leadership to generate new sales leads.
• Develop relationships with customers and related parties, focusing on exceptional customer service.
• Sell Arcadia’s full suite of services across the network by partnering with operations and other sales members.
• Maintain pricing and financial metrics to meet sales margins.
• Update Salesforce.com to track contacts, status, and opportunities in real time.
• Create professional presentations and RFP responses to address client challenges.
• Onboard new accounts with the Solutions Implementation team for smooth transitions.
• Provide daily/weekly sales updates and track performance against KPIs.
• Manage budgets and control expenses to meet targets and guidelines.
