Job summary

Arcadia Cold Storage is seeking a highly motivated Sales Director to drive new business in the U.S. logistics sector.

You will initiate contact with prospects, promote the company’s services, qualify opportunities, and work to exceed revenue targets. Collaborate with management, operations, and marketing to develop plans, build local relationships, deliver compelling proposals, and manage opportunities in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5+ years of supply chain / distribution / warehousing / transportation sales experience.
• Heavy experience in sales, new company prospecting, qualification, lead generation, selling, and closing new business.
• Experience in temperature-controlled warehousing or related industry preferred.
• Knowledge of transportation/freight consolidation programs a bonus.
• CRM experience with Salesforce.com.
• Ability to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Develop targeted action plans to generate new sales leads and prospects.
• Develop local and regional relationships with customers and related parties.
• Sell Arcadia’s full suite of services across the Company’s network.
• Develop and maintain pricing and related financial measures to meet margin objectives.
• Actively update and work within Salesforce CRM to maintain real-time contact information and opportunities.
• Create and deliver presentations and RFP responses to resolve business challenges.
• Collaborate with Solutions Implementation to onboard new customer accounts.
• Maintain awareness of performance against KPIs and provide updates to management.
• Manage budget and control expenses to ensure targets and guidelines are met.
