Thomson Reuters in Frisco, TX is seeking a Sales Director to lead and scale the SMB Tax Solutions business. You will own revenue strategy and guide a team of sales managers and account executives selling tax technology and workflow solutions.

As a player-coach, you will combine strategic planning, pipeline discipline, and talent development with a consultative, customer-first approach to drive new logos, expansion, and retention.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of B2B sales experience with leadership or quota-carrying responsibilities.
• Proven SaaS revenue targets achievement in software or information services.
• Experience selling to SMBs in a high-velocity, multi-channel model.
• Strong understanding of tax, accounting, or pro‑services workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver annual and quarterly sales targets for the SMB Tax portfolio.
• Develop and execute a go-to-market plan including territory, pricing, and channels.
• Maintain a healthy, forecasted pipeline and report to senior leadership.
• Recruit, coach, and retain a high-performing sales team.
• Collaborate across Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Sales Ops, Finance, and Legal.
• Act as executive sponsor on strategic deals and customer relationships.
• Promote consultative, outcome-focused selling and drive new logo growth.
