Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a seasoned Customer Success Manager focused on direct tax to translate complex tax rules into actionable guidance for clients. You will oversee a book of Concierge and Advisory customers, drive retention, and collaborate with Sales and Professional Services to expand value and knowledge of our offerings.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in the field, direct tax experience, and a track record in cloud software environments.

Qualifications

8+ years professional experience, including at least 3 years in customer success.
Direct Tax experience.
4-year college degree required.
Experience with cloud software solutions and cloud delivery.
Strong business acumen and communication; can manage a customer journey, conflict resolution, and problem-solving.
Ability to travel, 25%.

Responsibilities

Partner with customers to define success, deliver educational activities, and track progress toward business outcomes.
Develop and share best practices and Customer Success Plans with Sales and Professional Services.
Monitor customer health by tracking usage data and escalations, driving strategic adjustments.
Identify and activate growth opportunities and work with the commercial team on improvements.
Ensure customers receive maximum value and drive retention and growth through engagement.
Leverage tools like Gainsight and Salesforce to manage client information, pipeline, and forecasts.
Build and present business plans and represent Customer Success in cross-functional meetings.
