Job summary

Astranis is seeking a Sales Director for Central Asia and Europe to oversee regional deals and drive consistent closures. You will collaborate with engineers, BD, and executive leadership to advance opportunities and tailor offerings for enterprise clients.

This customer-facing role requires deep technical knowledge, strong business acumen, and the ability to build long-term relationships. Travel up to 30% and US citizenship or equivalent status are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in the satellite industry.
• 7+ years of experience in a customer-facing sales role.
• Proven record of closing complex multi-million dollar enterprise deals.
• Strong understanding of satellite communications and payload design.
• Strong English-language communication skills, both written and oral.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of time.
• US Citizenship or Green Card Holder.

Responsibilities

• Drive leads through the pipeline quickly and efficiently, accelerating sales cycles.
• Present Astranis technical materials confidently at customer meetings, conferences, and events.
• Identify new sales prospects to add to the funnel and qualify the pipeline.
• Negotiate with client representatives to generate shareholder value and secure follow-on sales.
• Translate between business and technical requirements to meet internal and client needs.
• Collaborate with internal Engineering to propose technical solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and navigate corporate structures.
• Prepare short- and long-term product sales forecasts, reports, and analyses for leadership.
