Job summary

Astranis Space Technologies Corp. is seeking a Sales Director to lead international government and defense opportunities, focusing on foreign militaries, ministries of defense, and government agencies.

You will own capture strategy and execution from initial engagement to close, across regions. You will build a global pipeline, lead RFIs/RFPs, coordinate with teams, and travel extensively to develop relationships with defense stakeholders while ensuring procurement and export compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven track record selling to foreign militaries or international government agencies.
• Strong knowledge of government/military procurement cycles (RFI/RFP).
• Existing network within defense and procurement communities.
• Willingness to travel internationally on short notice; multilingual candidates preferred.
• Technical fluency to discuss satcom architecture and capacity.
• Experience operating in ITAR/EAR compliant environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a global pipeline of foreign government opportunities across all regions.
• Lead responses to RFIs, RFPs, coordinating with technical and proposal teams.
• Coordinate with the USG team where applicable.
• Develop capture strategy by understanding foreign government procurement processes.
• Build relationships with defense/government stakeholders, primes, and partners.
• Travel internationally to support BD, negotiations, and customer relationships.
• Support pricing, deal structuring, and negotiation for sovereign/defense capacity.
• Deliver accurate pipeline forecasting to Commercial leadership.
