The Opportunity

As the third growth-focused hire in the United States, your core responsibility will be prospecting and supporting our growth team with closing new customers. You will be working closely with ex-Pinterest Sales Manager, Dev Bijlani, and ex-Gartner Head of Sales, Daniel Carrasco.

You will:

  • actively seek new business opportunities, build relationships with new customers and partners, and work closely with the wider growth team to ensure our multi-market revenue machine becomes more powerful.
  • have the opportunity to introduce your own best practices and strategies, as well as to test out creative acquisition and conversion tactics. You will benefit from working in tandem with our experienced Australian-based growth team.
  • live in the United States, and either work remotely and travel periodically, or work in person with our growing New York-based team.
  • be prepared to attend evenings calls with our team based in other timezones, however you will have significant flexibility in when you work and take breaks.

On a daily basis, you'll be responsible for:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identifying and targeting potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, social media, and networking events
  • Research: Conduct research to understand businesses and their pain points, ensuring tailored communication and effective engagement
  • Qualification and Needs Analysis: Engage with prospective customers to understand their needs, challenges, and goals
  • Sales Pitch and Product Knowledge: Articulate Visory’s value proposition clearly and effectively to potential customers, while also staying current with products, services, and industry trends to address customer objections
  • Lead Qualification: Qualifying leads and guiding them through the sales funnel
  • Sales Support and Collaboration: Provide support to the growth team by scheduling appointments, preparing sales materials, and assisting with client presentations
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all interactions with customers and prospects using CRM software
  • Revenue Operations: prioritizing and implementing new software initiatives to improve the efficiency of the growth team.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a hunger to make a huge impact early in their career
  • Is curious about learning and developing prospecting techniques (cold calling, email outreach, social media)
  • Is curious about lead enrichment, outbound sales tools, and CRM software
  • Is a self-starter with strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Is highly organised with an ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
  • has a healthy confidence about their ability to figure things out
