We act as an extension of our clients’ procurement teams - managing their supply chain strategy so they can focus on running their business.

About the Role - Sales Development Representative

We’re looking for a highly motivated Sales Development Representative who wants to break into restaurant-tech sales. The SDR will play a critical role in generating new business opportunities by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to directly contribute to the growth and success of FoodService IQ.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and research independent restaurants and small chains that match our ideal customer profile.
  • Prospect via cold calls, emails, social media, and local restaurant visits.
  • Manage all outreach and lead activity through Zoho CRM.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads and book discovery calls.
  • Clearly communicate our value proposition in conversations and written outreach.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives to refine outreach strategies and messaging.
  • Track performance and continuously improve based on coaching and data.

Skills & Qualifications Required

  • At least 1-2 years of SDR/cold calling experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse clientele.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a passion for exceeding targets and driving results.
  • Experience with CRMs (Zoho preferred).
  • Interest in the restaurant industry and understanding of how restaurants operate.

Location: Remote

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: Competitive base salary + commission

Target OTE: $75k–$90k
