Role Overview: As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you'll play a crucial role in driving the growth of VDB's SaaS solutions. Your primary responsibility will be prospecting, qualifying, and generating new business opportunities, laying the groundwork for our Account Executives to close deals. You'll be the first touchpoint with potential clients, representing VDB with professionalism, enthusiasm, and in-depth industry knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct proactive outbound prospecting via phone, email, social media, and other channels to identify new opportunities.
  • Qualify inbound leads by effectively assessing their business needs and SaaS requirements.
  • Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for Account Executives.
  • Accurately document all interactions and activities within Salesforce CRM.
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly KPIs related to calls, emails, meetings booked, and qualified opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives and Marketing teams to refine outreach strategies.
  • Continuously learn about industry trends, competitive landscape, and product updates to articulate VDB's value effectively.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in a SaaS sales development, business development, or similar role.
  • Experience with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High self-motivation, resilience, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and time management.
  • A genuine interest in technology, SaaS solutions, and/or the jewelry industry.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
  • Previous experience or knowledge within the jewelry industry or luxury goods sector.
