Job summary

Convergint is seeking motivated students for the 2027 College Development Program in Austin, TX. This full-time six-month training track provides knowledge, tools, and resources to succeed in sales, networking, and solution selling.

You will prospect and cultivate new relationships, learn about clients’ needs, and work with a team delivering world-class service while growing with the company. This program prepares you for a career in sales with Convergint.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years sales or equivalent (preferred).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Problem solving and adaptability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with existing customers and prospects to cultivate and identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate with partners in various industries to drive sales opportunities.
• Develop business opportunities, conduct needs assessments, and write proposals for systems installations and service opportunities.
• Develop market awareness through networking, events, and industry associations.
• Partner with operations to execute growth, development, sales and marketing of solutions.
• Translate customer needs into detailed proposals and project implementation plans.
• Support the Recruit Awesome People program to grow the team.
