Job summary

Gunton Corporation is seeking a Sales Development Representative to support our sales team with outbound calls and appointment setting. You will transition qualified appointments to Outside Sales Representatives, helping drive growth and learn our sales processes.

You'll build product knowledge, perform territory research, and contribute to a value proposition for customers. Occasional travel with field staff and permit office visits are part of the role, with a path toward promotion within one

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to lift and carry tools up to 50 pounds.
• Previous sales experience or Sales Internship is preferred.
• Experience cold calling as a form of business development.

Responsibilities

• Make a minimum of 80 outbound calls/touchpoints per day.
• Schedule and transition appointments to Outside Sales Representatives.
• Develop knowledge of Gunton products and sales processes.
• Research territory and contacts for accounts and services.
• Travel with outside sales staff to learn field processes when possible.
• Visit permit offices monthly for new building permits.
