Job summary

Gunton Corporation, a division of Pella Windows and Doors, seeks an Inside Sales Development Representative in the Pittsburgh area. You will support sales with outbound calls, schedule and transition appointments to Outside Sales Representatives, and work toward promotion to an Outside Sales role within one year.

The role emphasizes learning the Gunton and Pella sales processes, building product knowledge, researching territories, and maintaining accurate CRM records.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry sales tools up to 50 pounds.
• Preferred: prior sales or internship experience and college degree.

Responsibilities

• Make a minimum of 80 outbound calls/touchpoints per day.
• Input information into the Gunton CRM for up-to-date records.
• Develop product and process knowledge of Pella and Gunton sales processes.
• Research territory, accounts, and contact information.
• Prepare a value proposition for customers to improve profitability.
• Travel with outside sales staff to observe field sales processes.
• Visit permit offices monthly for new building permits.
• Adhere to Gunton policies and high ethical standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
