Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking a Sales Support Specialist in Trotwood, OH for a direct hire. The role offers a $70,000/year base, with first shift hours and an on-site work environment.

You will manage customer accounts, prepare quotes, and process sales orders in SAP, coordinating with engineering and estimating teams to meet delivery schedules. Ideal candidates will have 3–7 years of related experience in manufacturing, strong communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in business, sales, engineering, or related field.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary support contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Respond to inquiries regarding pricing, order status, technical documentation, and delivery schedules.
• Support outside sales representatives with account management and customer follow-up activities.
• Prepare and manage quotes for custom and standard products with engineering and estimating teams.
• Enter and maintain sales orders in SAP and other company systems.
• Track orders from quotation through production and shipment to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, purchasing, supply chain, and finance to support customer requirements.
• Assist with sales forecasting, revenue tracking, backlog reporting, and account performance analysis.
• Support contract reviews and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Identify opportunities for account growth and process improvements.
• Participate in trade shows and industry events as needed.

Location: Trotwood, OH

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, is a plus.

Experience Requirements

• 3-7 years of account management, sales support, customer service, or inside sales experience in a manufacturing environment.
