Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of manufacturing operations, including production, quality assurance, maintenance, safety, customer service, and administration.
• Develop and execute business strategies, operational goals, budgets, and growth initiatives.
• Drive operational excellence through KPI management, process optimization, workflow improvements, and cost reduction programs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, AS9100, NADCAP, customer requirements, and industry regulations.
• Oversee financial performance, revenue growth, labor utilization, profitability, inventory control, and capital planning.
• Build and develop high-performing leadership teams while promoting accountability, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain strong customer relationships, support business development efforts, and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement programs to increase productivity, quality, and profitability.

General Manager - Manufacturing Operations - Direct Hire

Pay: $90,000+ annually Depending on experience

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, AS9100, NADCAP, or continuous improvement certifications are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, quality systems, production planning, and financial management.

Experience Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, industrial finishing, metal finishing, or related industries.
• Proven success managing production, quality, maintenance, safety, customer service, and operational teams.
• Experience with AS9100, NADCAP, ISO, or other regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong background in P&L management, budgeting, KPI tracking, workforce development, and operational strategy.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, process improvement, and productivity initiatives.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to walk, stand, and move throughout manufacturing and production facilities daily.
• Ability to safely navigate industrial environments and wear required PPE.
• Capable of occasional lifting, carrying, and moving materials associated with management duties.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees, customers, vendors, and executive leadership.
• Willingness to travel between facilities and attend customer or supplier meetings as needed.
