Job summary

Macy's is seeking a Selling and Support Captain to be a customer advocate and role model for colleagues. As an elevated hourly colleague, you will excel in customer satisfaction, merchandising, and building brand loyalty through promotional and Omni selling initiatives.

Under a People Leader, you will communicate priorities, lead task execution, and support opening/closing procedures while delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of direct retail experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill orders, merchandise, and process new products while delivering service.
• Lead colleagues in executing assigned tasks on the selling floor.
• Role model customer experience and provide quick feedback for improvement.
• Resolve issues to ensure high level of customer service.
• Promote Macy's mobile app to enhance the in-store experience.
• Coordinate with People Leaders on store activities and priorities.
• Provide ongoing feedback to improve processes.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
• Maintain best-in-class merchandise standards.
• Educate teammates on POS tech for selling and fulfillment.
• Foster an inclusive environment with colleagues and customers.
