Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a Sales Associate in Florida to drive store sales through exceptional customer service and knowledge of the selling process. You will promote the Design program and assist designers to meet sales goals, while building lasting customer relationships.

The role offers training pay during 2–6 weeks, with uncapped commissions thereafter and potential annual earnings of $40,000–$60,000+ including base, bonus, and commission.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service skills, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, build rapport, and positively influence.
• Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work the schedule and hours dictated by business needs.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
• Initiative to meet assigned goals and stay motivated.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to store sales goals by selling furniture, accessories and services.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to achieve sales goals.
• Execute the La-Z-Boy selling process to provide a positive customer experience.
• Develop sales skills including approach, rapport building, needs discovery, presentations, objections handling and closing.
• Schedule professional home consultations for customized room designs.
