Job summary

La-Z-Boy in Mobile, AL is seeking a motivated Sales Associate to drive store sales through exceptional customer service and strong knowledge of our products and selling process.

Training pay starts at $15 per hour for 2-6 weeks, with base pay after training and uncapped commissions that reward performance; average annual earnings typically range from $50,000 to $70,000+ including base, bonus, and commission.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to store sales goals by selling furniture and services.
• Promote design program and assist Designer to achieve design sales goals.
• Consistently execute La‑Z‑Boy selling process to provide a superior customer experience.
• Develop sales skills including needs discovery, objections handling, closing, and follow-up.
• Schedule deliveries and coordinate with customers and design team.
