GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sales Associate plays a vital role in ensuring customers enjoy a rewarding experience that enhances their sports performance. They demonstrate excellent customer service, meet sales and service goals, provide product knowledge, and collaborate with team members to achieve store objectives.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Consistently meet sales targets and company goals by cultivating existing customer relationships and attracting new clients.
2. Deliver an exceptional customer experience through personalized attention, attention to detail, and offering tailored solutions for customer satisfaction.
3. Contribute to a positive store environment by fostering strong, professional relationships with colleagues, management, opticians, and support staff.
4. Maintain the store's appearance, ensuring displays and inventory are clean, attractive, and organized. Protect company assets diligently.
5. Promote an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, calculators, and basic math skills
• Willingness to embrace new technology and adapt to change with high accuracy
• Strong sales skills and accountability for results, with a goal-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
