Job summary

BoatCraft Marine in Northern Michigan seeks a proactive Boat Sales Consultant to grow our premier boat dealership. This in-person role focuses on building relationships, generating opportunities, and delivering an outstanding buying experience for our customers.

You will sell new and pre-owned boats and related gear, respond quickly to leads, conduct product demonstrations, and coordinate with service and parts to ensure exceptional ownership. A competitive, coachable spirit is valued.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate products and conduct on-water deliveries.
• Collaborate with service and parts to ensure ownership experience.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and professional Boat Sales Consultant to join our growing team. This is not an order-taking position. We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, generating their own opportunities, following up relentlessly, and delivering an outstanding buying experience.

Responsibilities

• Sell new and pre-owned boats, engines, trailers, docks, lifts, and marine accessories.
• Generate new business through phone calls, referrals, social media, networking, community events, and prospecting.
• Respond quickly to internet, phone, and walk-in leads.
• Build lasting customer relationships through exceptional communication and follow-up.
• Conduct product demonstrations and on-water deliveries.
• Maintain expert knowledge of our product lines and financing options.
• Accurately maintain customer information and activities in the CRM.
• Follow BoatCraft’s sales process from first contact through delivery and post‑sale follow‑up.
• Assist with boat shows, dealership events, and promotional activities.
• Work closely with the service and parts departments to ensure an exceptional ownership experience.
• Maintain a clean, professional showroom and display area.
