Job summary

Talley's Pier 77 Marine in Cornelius, NC is seeking a full time Sales Consultant to manage the entire sales process for luxury sport boats. You will become a product expert, handle leads from internet, phone, dealership and CRM, and guide customers to the best fit while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

The role rewards performance with unlimited commission on sales and benefits such as healthcare, vacation pay and a 401k plan. Training is provided in-house and through manufacturers.

Qualifications

• Experience in boat sales preferred.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Knowledge of boats and handling skills required.

Responsibilities

• Become a product expert on all brands we sell, stay current on product knowledge and competition
• Handle sales leads from Internet, Phone, at Dealership and from CRM.
• Consult with potential customers to find best products for their needs
• Diligently follow up with prospective customers and existing customers
• Perform boat sea trials and deliveries
• Tow trailers, launch & retrieve boats
• Follow sales process thoroughly
• Prepare and present sales deals to customers
• Visually check out trade ins
• Clearly communicate with customers, managers and service department
• Meet or exceed set sales goals
• Build relationships with customers
• Maintain product appearance and cleanliness
• Maintain facility appearance and cleanliness

Talley's Pier 77 Marine is a full service family owned Boat Dealership focused around providing the best products, service and customer experience possible. Since 1986 we have provided the best products and service in the Lake Norman Area. Join our team of exceptional people as a market leader in luxury sport boats in the Lake Norman area. We are an authorized dealership for Regal Boats, Avalon Pontoons, Volvo Penta, Yamaha Outboards, and Mercury Outboards.

We are growing and looking to hire a full time Sales Consultant that can handle the entire sales process with ease while building relationships with customers. Boat sales is a fast paced career with constant learning and full of rewarding opportunities. We are looking for an outgoing, energetic, dependable and hard working individual with past boat industry experience. Knowledge about boats with excellent boat handling skills is required. Boat sales experience is preferred. Training will be provided in house and through manufactures. Must be able to work Saturdays.
