Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience from first contact through delivery.
• Demonstrate boats, conduct sea trials, and assist customers in selecting boats, motors, and accessories.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and follow up with prospects.
• Collaborate with Sales, Service, Parts, and Finance teams to ensure a seamless ownership experience.
• Represent the dealership at events and community activities.

Boater's World Marine Centers is looking for energized, motivated, and customer-focused Sales Consultants to join our growing team in Lake Placid, FL.

This is not a role for someone looking to sit behind a desk and wait for opportunities to come to them. We're looking for individuals who enjoy meeting people, building relationships, staying busy, and helping customers make one of the most exciting purchases of their lives.

What You'll Do

Customer Experience

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience from the first conversation through delivery day
• Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their boating goals and lifestyle needs
• Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the buying process
• Maintain a professional appearance and customer-focused attitude
• Work closely with Sales, Service, Parts, and Finance teams to create a seamless ownership experience

Sales & Business Development

• Engage with walk-in, phone, internet, and referral customers
• Conduct boat demonstrations, walkarounds, and sea trials
• Follow up consistently with prospects and maintain an active sales pipeline
• Utilize CRM tools to track activity and customer communication
• Assist customers in selecting the right boat, motor, trailer, and accessories
• Participate in dealership events, promotions, and community outreach efforts
• Consistently work toward achieving and exceeding sales goals

Requirements

• High-energy, motivated, and driven individuals
• Previous sales, hospitality, retail, customer service, automotive, RV, powersports, or marine experience preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Competitive mindset with a desire to succeed
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where activity drives results
• Professional, coachable, and eager to learn
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills
• Comfortable using computers, CRM systems, and dealership software
• Available to work Saturdays
