Job summary

Pottery Barn Kids, part of Williams-Sonoma, Inc., is seeking a Sales Associate to provide a unique shopping experience with exceptional customer service and in-depth product knowledge in a fast-paced specialty retail setting.

You will use effective selling techniques to build multiple sales, assist with services such as gift wrap and registry, manage transactions at the register, and help maintain visual merchandising and store cleanliness.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years customer service experience and retail sales experience (specialty retail preferred, but not required)
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Full time associates are expected to have open availability to meet the needs of the business
• Part-Time Flex associates must be available to work weekends and two additional shifts during the week

Responsibilities

• Provide sincere, friendly and energetic customer service by exemplifying World-Class service standards
• Achieve established sales and contest goals; Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
• Assist customers with services including: gift wrap, gift registry, catalog orders, special orders, back orders and courier deliveries
• Utilize effective selling techniques to build multiple sales and increase productivity
• Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge, including features and benefits
• Process, ticket, and restock merchandise as needed
• Maintain visual merchandising, signage and store cleanliness
