west elm outlet is seeking a Sales Associate to provide customers with a unique shopping experience and excellent service in a fast-paced, specialty retail environment. You will share in-depth product knowledge and use effective selling techniques to boost sales.

You will help customers locate merchandise, process transactions, and assist with promotions, while maintaining visual merchandising and store standards.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of customer service and retail sales experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Full-time associates should have open availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide sincere, friendly and energetic customer service.
• Achieve established sales and contest goals.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions.
• Assist customers with locating merchandise, orders, deliveries, and furniture.
• Utilize effective selling techniques to build multiple sales.
• Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge and benefits.
• Process register transactions (sales, returns, exchanges).
• Assist in visual merchandise presentation, signage and lighting.
• Uphold store maintenance and cleanliness standards; restock as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
