Job summary

Scandinavian Designs is seeking enthusiastic Sales Associates to join our expanding team in Phoenix. You will deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales in a commission-based environment, and assist with transactions, deliveries, and after-sale support.

Training will build product knowledge, with opportunities for merchandise discounts and a family-friendly, non overnight schedule. This permanent role offers full-time hours and a positive showroom atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and professional sales presentation required.
• Experience in retail or customer service is a plus.
• Ability to work a mix of days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service with a consultative approach
• Maximize sales growth in a commission-based environment
• Process sales transactions, schedule deliveries, and handle after-sale service
• Maintain a clean and welcoming showroom
• Become an expert in our products and services through training
• Assist with store opening/closing procedures and support warehouse/delivery teams

Who You Are:

• 6 months to 2+ years of sales, retail, or customer service experience encouraged
• Excellent communication and professional sales presentation skills
• Available to work a mix of days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs., bend, kneel, and use hand tools for assemblies
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; experience in interior design or consulting is a plus

Location: 12801 North Tatum Blvd, Phoenix

Position: Non-Exempt/Hourly

Job Type: Full-time/Permanent

Training Wage: $16.50/hr - $18/hr for three months! Paid Bi-weekly!

Post Training Wage: Continuous base pay of $15.15/hr PLUS uncapped commission on personal sales and special orders!
