The Role

Presidio has an exciting opportunity for individuals who want to grow their careers as a technology sales professional. The Sales Account Manager position is responsible for engaging with customers and technology partners to drive business growth. You will focus on nurturing and expanding relationships with existing clients, as well as prospecting for new business opportunities. Success will depend on your ability to manage accounts efficiently, ensuring smooth delivery of solutions and strong account management practices.

Travel Requirements:

This position is remote, with minimal travel required outside of team events, approximately 10-15%.

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Customer Engagement & Account Growth: Develop and strengthen relationships with existing customers, ensuring high satisfaction and identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  2. Prospecting New Business: Identify and engage prospective customers in target industries, develop new leads, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
  3. Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement account plans aligned with sales targets and customer objectives; collaborate with internal teams to leverage resources and solutions.
  4. Operational Command: Maintain operational understanding of your accounts, ensuring seamless service delivery, tracking performance metrics, forecasting revenue, and analyzing account health.
  5. Collaboration with Partners: Build relationships with technology partners like AWS, Microsoft, and Cisco to create joint go-to-market strategies and add value for customers.
  6. Achieve & Exceed Quotas: Meet or surpass revenue and engagement goals through proactive relationship management and consultative selling.

Required Skills and Experience:

  1. 3-5 years of sales experience in the technology industry, with experience working with technology partners to drive joint sales opportunities.
  2. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with a focus on customer retention and new business development.
  3. Strong operational skills: managing multiple accounts efficiently, forecasting, and monitoring account health.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships across all levels of customer organizations.
  2. Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field.
  3. Highly motivated, results-driven, with a passion for building relationships and customer success.
  4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  5. Problem-solving mindset focused on delivering tailored solutions.
  6. Additional 3-5 years of sales experience in tech; a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, including military service, is preferred.
