The Role

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for engaging with customers and technology partners to drive business growth. Your focus will be on nurturing existing client relationships and prospecting for new opportunities. Travel Requirements

This remote position requires minimal travel outside of team events, approximately 10-15%.

Responsibilities Include
  • Customer Engagement & Account Growth: Develop relationships with existing customers, ensure high satisfaction, and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Prospecting New Business: Identify and engage prospective clients in target industries, develop leads, and convert prospects into long-term customers.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement account plans aligned with sales targets and customer objectives. Collaborate with internal teams to leverage resources.
  • Operational Command: Maintain operational understanding of accounts, ensure seamless service delivery, track performance metrics, forecast revenue, and analyze account health.
  • Collaboration with Partners: Build relationships with partners such as AWS, Microsoft, and Cisco to create joint strategies and deliver value.
  • Achieve & Exceed Quotas: Meet or surpass revenue and engagement goals through proactive relationship management and consultative selling.
Required Skills and Experience
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in the technology industry, with experience working with technology partners to drive joint sales.
  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets, with a focus on retention and new business development.
  • Strong operational skills: account management, forecasting, and performance tracking.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or related field.
  • Motivated, results-driven, with a passion for customer success.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Problem-solving mindset with tailored solution delivery.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in technology; bachelor's degree or military experience preferred.
