Job summary

Bonduelle Americas is seeking a Team Leader in Irwindale to mentor associates, drive continuous improvement, and ensure quality, sanitation and safety guidelines are met.

You will support environmental and social initiatives, help manage production schedules, and coach frontline staff to improve yields and efficiency. Typical days off are Thursday and Sunday; required to work in a cold environment and lead a high‑performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to work in a cold environment (34°F).
• Team-based, fast-paced work environment experience.
• Knowledge of safety, food safety and FDA requirements.
• Exposure to TPM, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and independent.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of all employees in operation of equipment through training and GMP adherence.
• Produce and package high-quality products following GMP and SOPs with Quality & Food Safety cooperation.
• Ensure production lines operate efficiently and meet throughput targets.
• Drive continuous improvement to minimize downtime and maximize yield; address root causes.
• Manage production and employee schedules and crewing/de-crewing processes.
• Monitor rework and yields; implement corrective actions.
• Build capability through coaching and training frontline hourly associates.
• Plan cross training to expand job knowledge and flexibility.
• Track KPI/costs and report daily requirements and metrics.
• Control plant overhead costs within budget (T&E, utilities, sanitation).
