Job summary

Bonduelle Americas in Irwindale, CA is seeking a Team Leader in the Salads department to mentor associates and drive continuous process improvement. You will ensure safety, quality, and productivity by aligning with GMPs, reporting to the Department Manager, and managing production schedules.

The role requires at least 2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong communication skills, and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to work in a cold environment (34°F)”
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team based fast paced, changing work environment.
• Understanding of production procedures, safety processes and食品 safety/quality requirements is desired (FDA compliance).
• Exposure to TPM, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Must be self‑motivated and independent.
• Basic mathematical and analytical skills; problem solving abilities.
• Ability to work well in a team and cross‑organisational collaboration.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fun culture.
• Ability to initiate action to prevent nonconformities related to food safety, quality and production efficiencies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Google Suite.
• Familiarity with JDE, RPMS, DSI, and ADP timekeeping is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mentor associates and contribute to Continuous Process Improvement.
• Ensure safety, sanitation and GMP compliance for all operations.
• Manage production and employee schedules and crewing/de‑crewing processes.
• Drive uptime and yield improvements; address root causes of downtime.
• Monitor KPIs/costs and report daily requirements and metrics.
• Develop frontline workforce through coaching, training and communication.
