Job summary

Wellington International in Wellington, FL is seeking a Salad Prep Cook to support daily kitchen operations. You will prep vegetables, season sauces, parboil, and assemble salads and simple entrees under the guidance of the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.

You will set up stations, maintain cleanliness, follow safety and sanitation standards, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, including nights and weekends. Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of related kitchen experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up the preparation station and the kitchen area, stocked for service.
• Preps food for service (washing/chopping vegetables, cutting meats).
• Cooks menu items in cooperation with kitchen staff under supervision.
• Adheres to executive/sous chef instructions.
• Maintains a clean and orderly kitchen; washes dishes, sanitizes surfaces, takes out trash.
• Follows nutrition, sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
