Job summary

Standard Motor Products, Inc. is seeking a Safety professional to ensure regulatory compliance and safeguard the workforce at its Greenville, SC facility. You will drive safety initiatives, lead the safety team, and coordinate training programs with HR and supervisors.

You will evaluate hazards, conduct investigations, manage OSHA logs, and liaise with federal and state agencies to maintain a strong safety culture across manufacturing and distribution operations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a safety-related field or equivalent.
• 2 years of safety experience in manufacturing/distribution, or 4 years in a safety role.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and communicating with regulators.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate hazards and safety/environmental risks and recommend improvements.
• Lead the facility Safety Team and investigations, including OSHA 300 logs.
• Manage Workers' Compensation program and training plans with supervisors.
• Develop inspection policies and annual education plans for the budget.
