Job summary

ACS Manufacturing, INC seeks a Safety Coordinator to develop and implement programs reducing loss in workers’ comp, general liability, auto liability, and property. You will promote a company-wide safety culture through training, risk assessments, and behavior modification.

The role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, conducts inspections, leads safety committees, and provides regulatory consultation to employees and facilities across the site in Abbeville, SC.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Hour (General Industry preferred).
• Professional Safety licensure is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree supplemented with 1–3 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and chairs the Company Safety Committee; provides regulations and consultation.
• Develops programs to ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
• Conducts claims investigations and analyzes risk management data.
• Performs regular safety inspections of grounds, buildings, and equipment.
• Provides ongoing safety training to various departments to reduce losses.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
