Personnel Resources, Inc. is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead and oversee safety programs in a manufacturing environment. This role emphasizes OSHA compliance and reducing workplace hazards.

You will conduct inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits, lead incident investigations, and provide new-hire safety orientation and ongoing training. Collaboration with maintenance and operations is required to address hazards on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of related safety experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
• Experience with accident investigations, risk assessments, and safety training.
• Experience developing safety policies and procedures.
• Strong communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety management systems.
• Safety certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and maintain OSHA safety policies and programs.
• Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Lead accident and incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct new-hire safety orientation and ongoing safety training.
• Manage PPE compliance and safety requirements.
• Provide training on forklift, overhead crane, LOTO, fire, and severe-weather safety.
• Prepare safety reports, track safety statistics, and identify trends.
• Work with maintenance and operations to address workplace hazards.
• Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the organization.
