Job summary

I-77 Mobility Partners LLC is seeking a Safety Specialist to support the development and implementation of the safety program for maintenance and tolling activities in the Charlotte area. You will conduct site observations, risk assessments, and incident investigations to ensure OSHA and internal standards are met.

The role emphasizes training delivery, use of PPE, and collaboration with Operations, ITS, and maintenance teams to foster a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with at least 3 years of related safety experience.
• Experience conducting safety audits and hazard assessments.
• Working knowledge of OSHA 1910 General Industry Standard; OSHA 1926 knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety programs related to Maintenance and Tolling activities.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify hazards and assess risks.
• Develop and deliver training to employees on safety procedures and PPE.
• Perform regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and work practices.
• Investigate incidents and maintain accurate training records.
• Support emergency response plans and annual drills.
• Monitor subcontractor safety compliance.
