Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking a Safety and Quality Consultant to manage multiple enterprise projects, develop curricula in safety and health equity, and guide process improvements across departments. The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders, data-driven decisions, and clear written and verbal communication.

You will design courses, coordinate project activities, and deliver key artifacts while supporting senior leaders and junior staff in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, or related field.
• Experience: either 2+ years in Quality & Safety, Performance Improvement, or Project Management with a bachelor’s, or 6+ years in those areas.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple enterprise projects and initiatives with weekly guidance.
• Design internal and external safety, quality, and health equity educational courses.
• Define, plan, and manage all phases of projects including day-to-day activities.
• Develop project deliverables like workflow diagrams, presentations, status reports, and timelines.
• Collaborate with a healthcare data analyst to analyze data and create presentations.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Coordinate data coordination, data entry, and data management for projects.
• Support the development of comprehensive project workflows and processes.
