Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a Safety and Quality Consultant who, under the Continuous Improvement Manager, will lead and coordinate multiple Heart Center quality projects and safety initiatives. You will define, plan, and manage all phases of projects, develop measurement plans with analysts, prepare status reports and presentations, and communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in Quality & Safety, Performance Improvement, or Project Management; OR 6+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data visualization and project management tools, and data collection platforms such as REDCap.
• Experience in healthcare quality measurement, process improvement, and coordinating with healthcare data analysts.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple Heart Center projects and initiatives under weekly supervision.
• Define, plan, and manage all phases of projects; coordinate day-to-day activities and document control.
• Develop project deliverables such as process diagrams, reports, and timelines.
• Create and execute quality, safety, and improvement measurement plans with analysts.
• Present data and findings to internal and external stakeholders across levels.
• Coordinate data collection and data management activities to support project objectives.
• Collaborate with senior staff to refine workflows and provide education and training to junior staff.
