Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking a Safety and Quality Consultant to lead cross-functional quality projects within the Heart Center. You will plan, execute, and monitor improvement initiatives, ensuring timely deliverables and alignment with measurement plans.

Under supervision, you will develop deliverables, coordinate data collection (REDCap), and present findings to stakeholders. You will also mentor junior staff and foster collaboration across teams to drive safety and quality gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years in Quality & Safety, Performance Improvement, or PM; OR 6+ years of related experience.
• Experience in project management, analytics, organizational, problem-solving, communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, data visualization, and REDCap.
• Knowledge of healthcare quality measurement, process improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple Heart Center projects per supervisor guidance.
• Define, plan, and manage all project phases and deliverables.
• Develop measurement plans and track data to produce run charts.
• Create workflow diagrams, reports, plans, and communications.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Support training for junior staff and coordinate data activities.
• Collaborates with senior staff to refine project workflows and processes.
• Provides education, guidance, and training to junior staff.
