Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking a Safety and Quality Consultant to lead multiple quality projects and safety initiatives. You will define, plan, and manage all project phases, ensuring timely deliverables and supporting measurement plans across the organization.

You will collaborate with analysts to identify key performance indicators, establish baselines, and develop run charts to track progress. Strong communication and data coordination skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in health admin, public health, or related field.
• 2+ years in Quality & Safety, Performance Improvement, or PM with degree; or 6+ years without a degree.

Responsibilities

• Under weekly guidance, manages multiple enterprise projects and initiatives and completes assigned project activities.
• Defines, plans, and manages all phases of projects, coordinates day-to-day activities, maintains records and documentation, and tracks tasks and deliverables.
• Develop project-related deliverables such as workflow diagrams, presentations, status reports, communication plans, and timelines.
• Collaborates with an analyst to develop and execute quality, safety, and improvement measurement plans; identifies KPIs and baselines; creates run charts and visuals.
• Composes, edits, and delivers clear written and verbal communications to internal/external stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Performs data coordination, data entry, and data management to support projects and ensure objectives are met on time.
• Collaborates with senior staff to refine project workflows and processes.
• Provides education, guidance, and training to junior staff.
