Job summary

AOI Corporation is seeking a Safety Manager to lead and maintain our safety, health, and risk management programs across the organization. You will collaborate with operations, field teams, subcontractors, and leadership to reduce risk and promote safe work practices daily.

You will implement OSHA-regulated programs, conduct site inspections in Omaha and Lincoln, and deliver training for employees at all levels while supporting workers’ compensation processes and continuous safety improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management or related field with equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of construction safety management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and local, state, federal regulations.
• First Aid/CPR certification instructor preferred.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 trainer preferred.
• Experience conducting safety training, audits, and incident investigations.
• Valid driver’s license in Nebraska or Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain safety programs to ensure OSHA/regulatory compliance.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations in Omaha and Lincoln.
• Develop, deliver, and track safety training programs for all employee levels.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation process and support return-to-work efforts.
• Serve as liaison to Safety Committee and align safety with operations.
• Analyze safety data to identify trends and drive improvements.
