Job summary

Onni is seeking a Safety Manager to prevent, detect, and resolve loss across Washington offices and properties. You will lead behavior-based safety practices, audits, and regulatory compliance while elevating safety in Onni’s culture and operations.

You will develop safety plans, coordinate training, supervise field operations, and manage incident investigations with senior leadership oversight. Strong OSH background and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. Occupational Safety & Health Engineering or related field.
• CHSR certification asset.
• Auditor certificate asset.
• 5+ years of construction or property management experience.
• 3+ years of safety management and training experience.
• Solid understanding of OSHA and industry-specific regulations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety plans for each project (Emergency Action, Fire Prevention, Fall Protection, JHAs/AHAs).
• Maintain IIPP per Cal/OSHA and COVID-19 protocols across offices and sites.
• Oversee high-risk operations and life-safety systems during construction.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly safety reports for leadership.
