Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Site Safety Manager to drive the Safety Management System, SRM, incident reporting, and compliance across the site. The role requires leading a team of senior professionals and coordinating with the enterprise SMS organization.

Remote eligible with a preference for candidates in the Northeast; occasional travel (25%) to Bromont, Hooksett, and Rutland is expected. In-person New Hire Orientation on Day 1 is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or equivalent with manufacturing/SMS experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing, quality, compliance, or SMS.

Responsibilities

• Lead Safety Management System development, implementation, and maintenance.
• Facilitate risk identification, analysis, and mitigation through SAT/SRB collaboration.
• Prepare and submit product safety performance reports to required parties.
• Monitor site compliance with enterprise SMS policies and conduct audits.
• Support product Safety Risk Management within change management initiatives.
• Provide SMS and Human Factors training to employees across the site.
• Drive product safety performance improvements and cross-site collaboration.
• Implement FLIGHT DECK standards to standardize processes and performance management.
