Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a safety-focused leader to oversee the site’s Safety Management System, risk management processes, and incident reporting. The role requires coordinating with enterprise teams, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple GE sites.

The position involves travel to supported GE sites and in-person New Hire Orientation on Day 1, with a strong emphasis on governance and performance improvement within the product safety domain.

Responsibilities

• Lead SMS development, implementation, and maintenance aligned with enterprise practices.
• Facilitate SRM through collaboration with SAT and SRB.
• Prepare product safety performance reports for required reviews.
• Monitor site compliance with enterprise SMS policies and conduct audits.
• Support product Safety Risk Management within change initiatives.
• Provide SMS and Human Factors training across all site levels.
• Disseminate product safety information and drive improvement actions.
• Track safety metrics and support customer and regulatory audits.
• Implement FLIGHT DECK standards and promote standardized processes.
