GE Aerospace is seeking a Senior Safety & Compliance Leader to drive the Safety Management System across sites, including risk management, incident reporting, and audits. You will lead a team of professionals and liaise with enterprise SMS to ensure alignment with standards and regulatory expectations.

The role requires in-person New Hire Orientation on Day 1 and substantial travel (up to 25%). A strong background in quality, safety, and program management is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 4+ years in manufacturing, quality, compliance, or SMS experience plus 5+ years in related roles.
• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing, quality, compliance, or SMS experience.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Lead SMS implementation, maintenance, and documentation aligned with enterprise practices.
• Facilitate SRM through collaboration with SAT/Groups and SRBs.
• Prepare safety performance reports for required reviews.
• Monitor site compliance with enterprise SMS policies and perform audits.
• Support Change Management within product risk programs.
• Provide SMS/Human Factors training and promote safety culture.
• Drive safety information sharing and cross-site collaboration on SMS objectives.
• Track safety metrics and support customer/regulatory audits.
• Implement FLIGHT DECK standards to standardize processes and performance.
• Lead a small to medium team; influence strategy and resource allocation.
• Interpret business challenges and apply best practices to improve products and processes.
