Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a senior product safety professional to lead the site’s Safety Management System and drive risk management across manufacturing sites. You will oversee SMS implementation, audits, incident reporting, and change management while collaborating with enterprise teams to enhance product safety performance.

Required are strong leadership, program management, and communication skills, with travel up to 25% and in-person New Hire Orientation on Day 1 as noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience and 5+ years in manufacturing, quality, compliance, or SMS.
• Proven ability to analyze and resolve problems and lead programs/projects.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills and ability to document, plan, and execute programs.
• Established project management skills and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead SMS development, implementation, and maintenance aligned with enterprise standards.
• Facilitate SRM through risk analysis and mitigation with SAT/SRB groups.
• Prepare safety performance reports for reviews and audits.
• Monitor compliance, perform safety audits, and support change initiatives.
• Provide training to employees and promote a culture of safety improvement.
• Drive standardization of processes and collaboration across GE sites.
