Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a senior safety and quality professional to lead SMS implementation, risk management, and safety governance across sites. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or GED with 4+ years experience) in manufacturing, quality, compliance, or SMS.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing, quality, compliance, or SMS experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead SMS development, implementation, and maintenance at the site.
• Facilitate SRM through SAT/Governance boards and product SRB.
• Prepare and submit product safety performance reports to stakeholders.
• Monitor site-level compliance with enterprise SMS policies.
• Support product Safety Risk Management within change initiatives.
• Provide SMS and Human Factors training site-wide.
• Disseminate product safety information and drive improvements across sites.
• Track product safety performance metrics to identify trends and improvements.
• Support customer and regulatory audits.
• Implement FLIGHT DECK standards for daily management and standard work.
• Lead a small to medium team of senior professionals.
