Job summary

IES Communications is seeking a Safety Coordinator to implement and maintain safety policies and training across projects. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and site standards while developing initiatives to prevent incidents.

Qualifications include EMT or higher credentials, OSHA knowledge, and strong communication. The role requires field oversight, audits, and incident investigations across locations.

Qualifications

• EMT or higher credentials preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Construction regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead safety programs across sites.

Responsibilities

• Support IES and Site/Customer safety policies and programs.
• Perform safety audits and inspections; prepare summaries.
• Deliver safety training including OSHA 10/30 hour and NEO as required.
• Lead root cause investigations for incidents and near misses.
• Coordinate safety records and reporting; communicate with stakeholders.
