Job summary

IES Communications is seeking a Safety Coordinator to implement and oversee safety policies, programs, training, and inspections on the assigned project and other sites as needed, ensuring compliance with all company, site, customer, and federal/state standards.

You will lead safety audits, incident investigations, root cause analyses, and safety training delivery (OSHA 10/30, NEO). EMT or higher credentials are strongly preferred, with travel within branch/regional territories as required.

Qualifications

• Must be self-motivated and able to lead safety initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to conduct safety trainings and presentations.
• Ability to perform site audits and inspections per standards.

Responsibilities

• Fully support all safety policies and state/federal standards.
• Perform documented jobsite safety audits and inspections.
• Conduct root cause investigations for incidents.
• Deliver safety training including OSHA 10/30 and NEO.
• Prepare written safety reports and summaries.
• Coordinate with site management and stakeholders.
