Job summary

IES Communications is seeking a Safety Coordinator to implement and manage safety policies across projects. The role focuses on training, inspections, and compliance with federal and state standards while advancing the IES safety culture.

The candidate will deliver OSHA training, coordinate audits, and lead incident investigations, reporting findings to project stakeholders and ensuring corrective actions are followed.

Qualifications

• EMT or higher credentials strongly preferred.
• Experience developing and delivering safety training and audits.

Responsibilities

• Support and enforce IES safety policies and federal/state standards.
• Implement and coordinate safety audits/inspections at sites.
• Deliver safety trainings including OSHA 10/30 and NEO as needed.
• Lead root cause investigations for incidents and near misses.
• Prepare safety reports and maintain safety records.
