Job summary

IES is seeking a Safety Coordinator to implement and administer all safety policies for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with Federal and State standards. The role focuses on safety training, inspections, and incident prevention, with EMT or higher credentials strongly preferred.

Responsibilities include conducting audits, leading root-cause investigations, delivering OSHA 10/30 and other trainings, preparing reports, and mentoring staff to uphold a strong safety culture across the site.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred.
• EMT or higher credentials preferred.
• 3+ years in construction safety (telecom/electrical preferred).
• Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Safety Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support safety policies and programs and ensure compliance with Federal/State standards.
• Deliver safety training and conduct audits/inspections.
• Lead OSHA inspections and incident investigations; prepare reports.
