Job summary

IES is seeking a Safety Coordinator to implement, administer, and coordinate all safety policies and programs for the assigned project and others as needed. This role focuses on OSHA standards and site safety compliance across divisions, with focus on safety training and incident prevention.

EMT or higher credentials are strongly preferred; the position requires leadership, training delivery, and routine safety audits. Competitive pay and comprehensive safety initiatives are provided.

• Must possess proven problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to read, write and give oral presentations.

Responsibilities

• Fully support all IES safety policies, procedures and programs and Federal/State Standards.
• Ensure implementation and compliance with IES Safety Policies within divisions and site-specific policies.
• Perform safety presentations and develop safety training as required.
• Schedule and conduct documented jobsite safety audits/inspections for compliance.
• Oversee and maintain activities involving confined space entry and related training.
