Job summary

Southland Industries offers an Internship and New College Graduate program designed to immerse students in Occupational Health & Safety within the Design/Build HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection industry. The role supports the Safety Manager to ensure site safety and regulatory compliance while gaining exposure to project coordination and field operations.

You will build hands-on experience working with Southland's field teams, learn OSHA standards, and participate in safety tailgate meetings,

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree aligned with Occupational Health and Safety.
• Knowledge of construction safety practices.
• Ability to work with field employees and customers professionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist Safety Manager in enforcing safety procedures on sites.
• Understand and communicate safety regulations.
• Support distribution of safety materials and training.
• Maintain records of safety meetings and certifications.
